Ween Were At Their Brownest During Night Two At Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas

first_imgWeen returned to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas last night for the second night of their three-night stand, and they turned in a set aimed at their hardcore fans. Ween is certainly an acquired taste, but if you like Ween, you loved last night’s ridiculously “brown” journey through the band’s expansive catalog. After opening with “Did You See Me?”, Ween delivered a twenty-five song set that showcased their diversity. Songs like “Exactly Where I’m At, The Stallion pt 5”, and “The HIV Song” acted as the ultimate contrast to “hit” songs like “The Mollusk”, “Bananas and Blow”, and “Roses Are Free”. Ween doesn’t pull any punches, so songs like “Waving My Dick in the Wind” and the night’s encore, “She Fucks Me”, come off as punk rock moments where the band is actively trying to offend those who don’t get their style. It’s a bold move that pays off for Ween time and time again, as they and their hardcore fans are all in on the joke and cherish making those who aren’t in on it uncomfortable. Last night, Ween once again proved that they are fearless.See below for a full setlist from last night’s Ween show at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, and check videos of “She’s Your Baby”, “Dr. Rock”, and “Puerto Rican Power” from the show as well, courtesy of Fatah Ruark’s Live Music Archive“She’s Your Baby”“Dr. Rock”“Puerto Rican Power”You can see a full photo gallery below, courtesy of © Paul Citone / KabikPhotoGroup.Com..Setlist: Ween | Brooklyn Bowl | Las Vegas, NV | 2/18/2017Set One: Did You See Me?, Exactly Where I’m At, Mutilated Lips, Take Me Away, Up on the Hill, The Stallion pt 5, Happy Colored Marbles, The HIV Song, Boy’s Club, Doctor Rock, Frank, She’s Your Baby, The Mollusk, Bananas and Blow, Even If You Don’t, Pandy Fackler, Fat Lenny, Puerto Rican Power, Sorry Charlie, How High Can You Fly?, Roses Are Free, Baby Bitch, Waving My Dick in the Wind, Don’t Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy), Captain FantasyEncore: She Fucks Me Load remaining imageslast_img
