According the Alabama… read more Studio 116 in downtown Brundidge will, once again, be alive with the sound of music when the Old Time Music Revival gets underway on Saturday, March 21.The revival of the old time music will span four months with a different form of old time music featured each month, March through June.Margaret Ross, a member of the “revivalists group,” said there is renewed interest in the old time music and Chris Rich and Sarah Dismukes, owners of studio 116, have generously agreed for the studio to be the site of the old time revival programs. So, the singing will be an hour and 15 minutes, from 6:30 until 7:45 Saturday night, March 21.”Lenora Senn will play piano for the singing and Ross said nobody plays those old church gospel songs any better.“The music will be great and we’ll have a great time singing the old church songs that are such an important part of our heritage,” Ross said.The dates of the following Old Time Music Revival programs will be announced.
