With LeBron Back, Lakers outlast Clippers in OT 123-120

first_imgLOS ANGELES (AP) — LeBron James looked like his old self, even if he wasn’t feeling like it after his first game since Christmas.James had 24 points and 14 rebounds in his return from a 17-game injury absence, and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Clippers 123-120 in overtime Thursday night after blowing a 14-point, fourth-quarter lead.“Definitely ecstatic about being back out there with my guys,” he said, “but being out five weeks, I’m feeling it right now. I wish I could click my shoes together right now and be home in my bed.”James came up one assist shy of a triple-double. He made 5 of 7 free throws, had four turnovers and no fouls in 40 minutes of his first game since Dec. 25 at Golden State, when he strained his left groin.“I’m looking forward to seeing how I feel tomorrow,” he said. “That’s going to be the telltale sign of all the rehabbing and the working and everything I’ve been putting in these last five weeks.”The Lakers were 6-11 during the longest absence of his 16-year career.“He looked good,” said Tobias Harris, who guarded James much of the game.Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James stands on the court during the second half of an NBA basketball game against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, in Los Angeles. Lance Stephenson drove for a flailing layup, hitting Boban Marjanovic in the nose with his left elbow while getting fouled. After a review by the officials, no additional penalty was called. The review was for “a possible or potential hostile act,” crew chief John Goble told a pool reporter after the game.Goble said the on-court ruling was a defensive foul and there was no additional contact.Stephenson completed the three-point play that kept the Lakers ahead 123-118.“I don’t know how you can come to that call,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. “You make contact with the head, it’s a flagrant. It was too obvious. It was an elbow to the face. Why put in those rules if you’re not going to call it?”Marjanovic’s teammate Lou Williams added, “Boban gets penalized so much for being big. If you elbow a guy away from the basket, it should be an offensive foul.”Avery Bradley and Williams missed on the same possession, and Williams missed a free throw when Stephenson got called for a technical in a tussle with Bradley. The Clippers were 14 of 26 from the foul line.Williams couldn’t get a potential tying 3-pointer off in the right corner before the final buzzer.Los Angeles Lakers center Tyson Chandler, left, and Los Angeles Clippers center Boban Marjanovic battle for a rebound during the second half of an NBA basketball game Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, in Los Angeles. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max mockup shows upcoming Apple phones with triple rear camera module

first_imgLast year, in 2018, Apple launched three iPhones out of which one was for the consumers looking to buy an “affordable” iPhone. This year too — at least that’s what the rumours suggest — the Cupertino based tech firm is planning to bring three iPhones which are said to be the successor to the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. Most likely the high-end or expensive iPhones this year will be called iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. The affordable iPhone this year will reportedly be called iPhone XR 2. Ahead of the launch of these new iPhones a lot has been revealed about the phones by the rumours and leaks and now new mockup reveals the complete design of the camera setup of the alleged iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. The camera module design of the iPhone XR is said to be different. The new leak coming from tipster Ben Geskin goes almost in line with the past renders of the iPhone 11 series. The mockup reveals that the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Max will come with a triple rear camera setup. This should come as good news for iPhone fans who have been missing out on more cameras. Having said that if rumours turn out to be true this will be the first time when iPhones will sport three cameras on the back panel. As far as the design of the iPhone 11 series is concerned — in the mockup — the phones look a lot different compared to last year’s iPhones. The three cameras are placed in a rectangular fashion and they sit inside a square box — which was also revealed by the past rumours, leaks and renders. The three cameras are paired with an LED flash that also sits inside the square camera module. In the mockup the iPhone 11 series appears in gold colour. Next to the camera module there’s an Apple logo that sits and appears in silver paint.advertisementPast rumours suggest that the top-end iPhones this year aka the iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Max will come with three cameras on the back panel while the iPhone XR successor will include dual rear cameras. Considering the rumours the camera setup of the iPhone XR successor or the iPhone XR 2 — the name of the phone is yet to be confirmed — will look similar to that of the iPhone XS series. Some other rumours suggest that the iPhone XR 2 similar to the iPhone XR will come in funky colours while the top end iPhone models will be available in basic, black, white and gold colours.Going by Apple’s track record the new iPhones may launch around September and October. Meanwhile, the Cupertino major is all set to kick off its developer’s event aka WWDC 2019 today where the company is said to announce iOS 13 — which is run the new iPhones. Apple is also expected to announce new MacBooks at WWDC event today.ALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy A80 may launch in India next week as company holds preview eventsALSO READ | BlackBerry Messenger is now officially over, but BBMe will live onALSO READ | Vodafone prepaid recharge plan of Rs 229 offers 2GB data daily for 28 dayslast_img read more
